We just received the following message from Anthony Roe, on behalf of Saleem Massey, of Pakistan Christian Evangelical Services, one of our strategic partners, who just took ill:
Brother Saleem is currently in the USA with Naylah and his four children. He came to visit supporting churches and to speak at the International Conference on Missions in Kansas City in November.
Saleem had a heart attack on Monday, October 21, and was taken to Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He has 100% blockage in one artery and 80% in another.
He will have heart surgery tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11 a.m (US time).
Samreena has reported that Saleem just asked for continued prayer
He was supposed to fly to Atlanta yesterday, but all of his travel plans have been cancelled including the ICOM.
It is a blessing from God to have this happen in Cincinnati where he can get excellent care.
We request your immediate prayers for Saleem and his family. May they all see God’s love and grace in this trying situation and may God grant Saleem complete recovery.
We ask you to join us in prayer and fasting for Saleem’s surgery tomorrow. More as it becomes available.
